HEAD
Dark red butterhead. Excellent flavor. Crisp and juicy midrib, sweet. Leaves are heavily pigmented with dark purple; highly blistered and undulated. Forms a fairly well defined compact head. Moderate bolt resistance. Plants 6-8" tall, 11-12" in diameter when grown on Heritage Farm in 2018. White seed. SSE Accession # 112424
