Greenish-yellow butterhead. Well-developed head. Very good eating qualities. Tender, buttery leaves that are slightly sweet and slightly bitter in innermost whorl. Uniform plants. Leaves measure 5-7" long by 7-9" wide at market maturity. Plants reach 6-7" tall and 12-14" wide. Mid-season maturing. White seeded. Acquired by SSE from Territorial Seed Co (CV Ter). The variety was likely developed by Nickerson Zwaan B.V., a Dutch breeding company, sometime during the early 1980s. SSE Accession # 111543
