Pink Oxheart fruit is heart-shaped by strong green shoulder coloring. Fruit measure 2.87-4.35 inches long, 3.15-4.75 inches wide, and weigh up to 1.5 pounds. Fruit has high splitting and cracking tendency. Fruit found in clusters of 1-3. Indeterminate plants with standard leaves. Average productivity and early season maturing when grown in 2016 at Heritage Farm. BRIX reading 5.0. Very nice meaty texture that melts in your mouth. Donated to SSE by Pam Warner who received this variety in the late 1980s from her friend Cheryl in Chetek, Wisconsin. Both Cheryl and her mother grew this variety, which they had received from friends Louise Miller and her mother, Mrs. Butzler. The tomato variety was originally brought to the U.S. by Mrs. Butzler from Poland. It is used by Pam for everything from slicing to sauce, tomato soup, and salsa. SSE Accession # 131617
