Mammoth Red Rock

This is a beautiful, sure-heading cabbage! The plants are purple-green with purple heads. They have a heavy white bloom. The slightly flattened to round heads are rock solid and relatively large for the size of the plants, which are medium in size. The leaves are semi-erect and provide some coverage for the head. The heads seem to be very resistant to splitting and hold well in the heat. This variety is relatively resistant to cabbage worms. SSE Accession # 133512
