Long and thin green pods, developing some red patches as they mature. Pods are mostly straight and uniform, with 6-9 ridges per fruit. Prickly. Mature pods reach 11-15" long by 1-1.5" wide. Plants grow 4-5' tall. Solid red stems and petioles. Green leaves. Average pod set when grown in 2013 at Heritage Farm. No lodging. Donated to SSE by Cindy Carlson who received it from her mother in Pensacola, FL. Carlson's mother obtained the variety from a Mr. King. SSE Accession # 114033
