German Spinach

Large, oval leaves are solid light green, and mostly smooth. Crisp and tender texture. Light, lemon-citrus flavor reminiscent of sorrel but without the summer bitterness. About 20" tall plants. Growth habit similar to chard in size and vigor. Performs well through summer and drought, but does best at the end of summer with slightly cooler temps. Minimal pest problems.
