VEGETABLES / TOMATO
RED
Bred at the University of New Hampshire in the late 1950s/early 1960s with the intent of having all fruits maturing at the same time for canning. Pear-shaped, red fruits are a half ounce and 1 ½-2 inches long each with thick walls and a very tasty, distinctive flavor. We like to eat them fresh. Regular leaves, determinate. About 75 days to maturity after transplanting.
