Ollie Droll

Evaluated at Heritage Farm in 2025, description in progress. Given to SSE by Ralph Stevenson (MI ST R) in the early 1980s. Stevenson acquired the variety from Lyle Settle (NM SE L) who had offered it in the SSE Yearbook Exchange during the late 1970s. It was grown by Lyle's mother, Eliza, during his childhood near Ina, Jefferson County, IL. Eliza received it circa 1920 from Mrs. Ollie Droll, who reportedly obtained it from family in Jefferson County. SSE Accession # 102065
