Little Gem

Shelling/garden pea. Good flavor and moderately sweet. Best as a freezer. Light yellow-green pods are mostly single but some in pairs. Well filled pods measure 0.5-0.6" wide and 2.4-2.8" long. Plants measure 2.5-3.3' tall with white flowers. Dry seeds are wrinkled and green or cream colored. Above average productivity when grown on Heritage Farm in 2018. Fully expanded pods in late June.
