Lisbon Savoy

A beautiful blue-green savoy leafed cabbage. Head shape variable from rounded or flattened to more typically elliptic. Heads are typically on the softer side, but the oblate shaped heads are heavier and denser. Plants measure 15-30" tall and 25-45" wide. Heads 8-14" in length, 6-10" in diameter, and weigh 3.5-7 lbs. Heads with white interior are small to intermediate in comparison with the entire plant. Fairly sweet with a spicy kick and a wonderful crisp juicy texture. Donated to SSE by Blane Bourgeois (AR BO B) who received the variety from Rose-Marie Lacherez (AUSL LA R) of Queensland, Australia. SSE Accession # 106789
