Long and thin, yellow-green pods. Best eaten under 4" long. Curved and straight pods. Prickly pubescence. 7-10 ridges per fruit. Moderately productive despite disease in 2015 growout at Heritage Farm. Non-pigmented plants. Dry pods measured 8-10" long. Donated to SSE in 2013 by Lawrence Langston of Dripping Springs, TX. He originally received the variety from his father-in-law, Albert Clifton of DeQuincy, Louisiana in about 1975. Clifton got the variety from a friend in DeQuincy in about 1950. SSE Accession # 131781
