Market mature fruit is long and straight with superficial ribbing, dark green, glossy skin with pale green stripes, dense white spines. Market mature fruit avgs 7" long, 2" wide, and 11oz. Seed mature fruit yellow, avgs 8" long, 2.6" wide. Standard flavor with crisp, moist flesh, skin becomes thick and bitter with age. Best eaten when under 5" long, 1.5" wide. SSE Accession # 109169
