P. philadelphica. Fruit flavor is musky, sweet and sour. Fruit are round to slightly flattened; 1" long; and 1-1.5" in diameter. Mature fruit color ranges from yellow to yellow-green to pale green. Most are pale green. Branchhy, prostrate growth habit and smaller in width and height than typical tomatillo. Plants reach 1.5-2' tall. Light purple pigment on the ridges of the fruit calyx. Moderately productive when grown at Heritage Farm in 2015. Low vigor when grown in 2024. Donated to SSE by William Woys Weaver (PA WE W) who obtained the variety from the Landis Valley Museum in Lancaster, PA. SSE Accession # 121405
