Potato Red Skins

Plum tomato. Red fruit with orange undertones are plum-shaped with some becoming slightly flattened. Fruit measure 2-3.25 inches long, 2-3 inches wide, and weigh up to 8 ounces. BRIX reading 5.3. Semi-determinate plants with standard leaves and inserted styles. Earlier maturing and high productivity when grown in 2016 at Heritage Farm. Tough skin, but good flavor. Acquired by SSE from Don Kellums (IL KE D) in the late 1990’s. Kellums obtained it from the Abundant Life Seed Foundation (CV Abu) in 1997. CV Abu listed the variety in their catalog in 1996, where it is described as an endangered heirloom. SSE Accession # 126277
