Diminutive plants produce medium-sized, red-orange, sweet bell peppers. Plants are ideal for container gardening and reach up to 1' tall. Each plant produces a handful of erect peppers. Pale green immature fruit become light orange, then red-orange. Fruit measure 2-3" long, 2.5" wide, and weigh 2-3oz. Mild flavor; lacks sweetness. Semi-wrinkled skin. Thin walls for a bell pepper. Brix score: 6.2. Green stem and leaves. Mid-season maturing. C. annuum. Acquired by SSE from Thompson & Morgan. CV Tho offered it from 1987-1989. SSE staff do not know who was responsible for developing it or when it was introduced to the US seed trade. According to SSE’s GSI publications, CV Tho was the only source of this variety.
