C. maxima. Hubbard type. Smooth skin, pale orange with gray-green blossom end (some fruit lack green color at blossom end). Fruit grew to banana length in 2011 (elongated), but were smaller and more oblong (hubbard) in 2012, a drought year. In 2012, fruit averaged 11" length, 6.5" diameter, 7.3 lbs. Very distinct from Kansas German Sweet Potato (SSE Squash #2113). Vining plants; leaves moderately lobed, silvering ranging from strong to weak. Roasted seeds are not edible, very tough and fibrous. Squash is moderately sweet, smooth and moist flesh, good texture. SSE Accession # 119868
