Baladi

Very early bolting romaine. This may be a celtuce variety (grown for its thick flowering stalk). Dark green, long and slender leaves. Slight leaf blistering and undulation. Largest leaves average 9.0" long by 4.2" wide. Thicker, crisp leaves with excellent texture. Standard flavor, no bitterness. White seed.
