VEGETABLES / PEPPER
HOT
Perfect red Tam O'Shanter shaped fruits. Prolific plants will continue to set fruit the entire growing season into fall. Fruit will ripen from bottom up requiring several pickings over the growing season. Start indoors 8 weeks before last frost, transfer to garden in full sun spacing 2 - 3 ft. apart and much heavily, staking will be required as plants mature. Pleasantly hot and very tropical fruit tasting, excellent dried and ground for use in a shaker or use whole in soups & stews. Pepper is also known as "Art the Barber" as I donated ripe fruit to SSE in FY2020 to save seeds resulting in a 50+ plant grow-out taking place in FY2021. The name "Art the Barber" was chosen due to a local Barber gifting the peppers to my wife's place of work some 13 years ago. Nobody wanted them, but she knew what they were knowing I would want them. Art has been growing Scotch Bonnets for 30+ years as they are hard to find.
