Small, round fruit. Light green background color with darker green mottling and striping. Uniform fruit. Pink flesh. Brown seeds. Fruit reach 4-6" long; 3-5" wide; and 1-2lbs. Thin rind. Very early maturing. Brix score: 7. Does not hold on the vine well. Short window for picking at peak maturity. Suffered from anthracnose and had low productivity when grown in 2015 at Heritage Farm. This accession was acquired by SSE from Tom Knoche (OH KN T) who received the variety from Glenn Drowns (IA DR G). Drown obtained the variety from Mountain Seed and Nursery of Moscow, ID. This variety is likely and example of the 1947 introduction of 'New Hampshire Midget' by the University of New Hampshire, which was an All-America Selections winner in 1951. SSE Accession # 127811
