Dwarf Orange Cream

VEGETABLES / TOMATO
ORANGE-YELLOW
Online description says 3-4' potato-leaf plant produces 4-12 ounce fruits in 75 days. Mine were 26" tall (shorter than most of my dwarfs) and produced starting Sept 5 (about 95 days) probably due to temperatures in the 90s all summer killing the pollen. 3" diameter, 2" height, 140 g. Pale yellow to gold color (like orange juice with cream added?), matte. Bill Minkey helped to develope it. Thin skinned with strong tendency to crack without healing and then rot, so I may not grow it again, but it was pretty and tasted good. We have clay soil, and the summer and fall of 2020 got 1" rain about once a month all at once so a lot of varieties cracked but this was one of the worst. The others healed better. It set lots of fruit despite the heat. 2020 seed.
