Shelling pea. Tall, spindly plants have straight, green, medium-small pods. Pods are easy to see because of sparse foliage. Plants 5-6 feet tall. One or two pods per peduncle. 4-6 peas per pod. Berries are small and have fair to poor eating qualities - not sweet, rather astringent, dry. White flowers. Mid-season. Smooth, mostly round, green seed with a few dimples.
