Brassica rapa. Broccoli raab (rapini). Leaves green with sparse pubescence. Green to light purple petioles. Quick to bolt. Cooked greens are rather bitter. Raw florets are slightly spicy with good brassica flavor. Acquired by SSE from the Cook's Garden. Previously classified incorrectly by SSE as a broccoli (formerly BROCCOLI 52 'Quarentina').
