Butterhead. Head formation generally well-defined but somewhat variable. Yellow-green leaves. Relatively small, compact plants reach 4-7" tall and 9-12" wide at market maturity. Largest leaves measure 4-6" long and 5-8" wide. Good flavor and texture; slightly sweet; crisp; not bitter. Average time to maturity when grown in 2013 at Heritage Farm. White seeds. Given to SSE by Nancy Hendrickson (OH HE N) who acquired the seeds from the Swartzentruber branch of Old Order Amish in Homerville, OH. SSE Accession # 111804
