Yellow Cayenne

Yellow Cayenne Pepper originates from the Cayenne district of French Guiana in South America. The pods are 8 to 10 cm long. They are thin fleshed and can be eaten green or yellow. However, the longer they are left to ripen on the bush, the more powerful the heat and flavour will be. The Yellow cayenne is slightly sweeter and smoother than the Red Cayenne.
