Rufous

1.5-2.5" glowing chestnut brown tomato on 36-46" indeterminate non-sprawly plant, produces well from mid August (75 days) until frost, hangs on well, disease resistant, and nice fruity flavor. 2" wide x 1 1/2" high, 50 g. or 2" round 70 g. One distant ancestor is Sungold (hybrid). The potato-leaf version has been stable for me for over five years but my neighbor grew a regular-leaf version. I chose the name from a color chart, because the other red-brown names were taken (chestnut, russet, umber, etc.). 2020-2022 seed.
