White, triangular spring radish with green shoulders. Roots 3-5" long, 1.5" in diameter. Roots mostly buried. White flesh, smooth skin. Very good flavor and texture, even when larger. Crisp. Slightly bitter, very spicy. Large, semi-erect leaves with purple petioles. This accession matches the historical variety White Strasburgh radish first seen in the 1884 Burpee catalog.
