Golden Bison

Yellow globe tomato. Little flavor, moderately acidic, juicy, with tough skin. Concentric cracking common in 2013 growout. Fruit were mostly blemish-free in 2014. 2-4 fruit per cluster. Ripe fruit measure 1.5-2" long by 1.7-2.5" wide and weigh 0.1-0.2lbs. Flower stigma is level with anther cone. Average productivity. Acquired by SSE from Doug Egeland (NY EG D) who obtained the variety from the USDA (NSL 27487) and stated that the variety was offered by the Oscar Will seed company in 1937. SSE Accession # 127066
