Harris Earliest

Round to slightly elliptic fruit. Light green with faint green mottling. 8-9" long, 7-8" wide, and 8-12lbs. Light red flesh. Wonderful taste and texture. Sweet and juicy. Brix 10.4. Brown seeds with black speckles. Rind 0.5" thick. Highly productive plants. A great variety for northern gardeners. Donated to SSE by the late Tom Knoche (OH KN T). SSE Accession # 127802
