Small Speckled Bunch (Pole)

Pole/Dry. Beans small, with brown stripes and speckles over a lighter brown background. Small to average pods, productive. Grown by Elizabeth Auker in 2022 for the Collection Documentation Project; she commented "fence was a sagging 3' high so height is unknown, earliest of my beans to ripen (late August/early September), excellent yields in 2022...I'll plant this one again as we really prefer small beans!" Donated to SSE in 1981 by bean collector John Withee of Lynnfield, Massachusetts and the Wanigan Associates. SSE Accession # 101696
