Bush/Dry. 82 days to first dry pods. This variety originally comes from Kenya, Africa. 20 inch tall plants that bear 5 to 6 inch pods that contain 5 to 7 seeds when fully mature. Seed is plump with a flat dusty pinkish red base color with bluish purple streaks and speckles over the entire surface. i had first listed this bean the SSE yearbook in 1980 after acquiring it from John WIthee's Wanigan Associates in 1979.
