James Hopper

Plants 2.5-3' tall. Downy, green pods are straight with 6-9 ridges. Highly dissected green leaves with red veins. Petioles are red near leaf attachment and green below. Very flavorful, with notes of brown sugar and molasses. No lodging. Seed mature pods measure 5.3-8.5" long. Highly productive when grown in 2023 at Heritage Farm. SSE Accession # 114058
