Amaranthus sp. This is a very variable amaranth with marbled flowers and striped stalks. Some stems have more red/pink than others. Some are more pigmented at the base with a greener stem, while others are green and red striped. Some plants have green flower sections and dark amaranthing sections on the same stalk. Plants grow 6.5-7 ft tall. Over half of the plants lodged during the 2021 planting at Heritage Farm. This variety as white seeds. This variety came to SSE from William Ross (WA RO W) of the Good Seed Company (CV Goo) in Washington who received it from a now unknown SSE member. SSE Accession # 100042
