Klondike, Peacock Strain

Moderate sized elongate fruit with dark green skin and dark green stripes and netting. Yellow coloring is present on some fruit. Longitudinal grooves present. Fruit 9-12" long, 6.8-8" wide, and weigh 9-15lbs. Rind thickness 0.5-1" thick. Pink flesh is juicy, moderately sweet and slightly stringy. Small black seeds. Moderate productivity and later maturing when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm. SSE Accession # 127740
