Wild Pea of Umbria

It produces small speckled peas which are a motley mix of dark brown, purple, reddish, or dark green in color, easy to clean seed. Easy to grow, trouble free, and prefers cool seasons. Has been grown in Italy on the Umbria-Marche ridge for centuries, and consumed as a staple by local populations.
