Quite a distinctive variety! Small, red, round fruits with flavor that seems to depend on conditions: mild to strong with acidic rather than sweet dominant; a favorite of many growers. Regular leaf, determinate vines with outstanding yield from 65 days until frost – almost all fruit rather than vine. One of the best performers in cool climates and at high altitude. Heirloom traces to Irkutsk, Russia.
