Grovetown Multiplier

SSE received this variety from Exchange lister Charles Case (GA CA C) of Grovetown, Georgia, who began offering it in the 2005 SSE Yearbook. Case stated he acquired it in 1997 from a feed and seed store in Grovetown, GA, and that it's a long-time favorite among local gardeners. Case described the taste as a mild and delicate shallot flavor, and that it also works beautifully as "pearl onions."
