VEGETABLES / TOMATO
PINK-PURPLE
Said to hail from Tennessee, likely grown by the Cherokee tribe. This is one of my favorites to give to people that *only* eat red tomatoes. Fruits have deep purple-pink flesh and greenish shoulders. There is no wrong way to eat it – all culinary methods will benefit from its rich, sweet taste. One plant produces a lot of ~10 ounce fruits. Regular leaves, indeterminate. About 80 days to maturity after transplanting.
