Waldmann's Dark Green Looseleaf

Variable looseleaf type. Good texture, not bitter or astringent. Most plants have highly undulating, yellow-green leaves; a few plants form a slight head. Some variability in degree of leaf undulation. Some plants are more compact and taller while others spread horizontally and are shorter. Susceptible to tipburn. Plants measure 9-10" tall and 12-14.5" in diameter when grown on Heritage Farm in 2018. Dark brown seeded. SSE Accession # 112444
