Conomon type melon, also known as Oriental Pickling Melon according to Amy Goldman. Moderatly vining plants. It is a smooth, elliptical melon, light green when immature, turning yellow then orange at seed maturity. Variable melon, with some having slight ribbing, while others are entirely smooth. Fruit is 6-7.5" long, 3.5-4" wide, and 2-2.5lbs. Unclear at which stage and how it should be eaten. It has white flesh 0.5-1" thick. Moderately productive. Early maturing variety.
