Pole lima. Slightly curved mature pods measure 2.3-3.4" long by 0.7-0.8" wide. 3-4 seeds per pod. Attractive seeds have a white base color with extensive red pigmentation and black mottling along the keel and around the hilum. Dry limas have a robust, slightly sweet flavor and creamy texture. Late-maturing. Average productivity when grown in 2013 at Heritage Farm. Donated to SSE by Russell & Marian Pressley. This variety was given to the Pressley family in the 1950s by Emma Kober, the daughter of German immigrants whose ancestors brought the beans to the U.S. SSE Accession # 105748
