Renick Yellow

Small, round and very uniform fruit . Light green rind with dark green stripes running the entire length of fruit. Fruit measure 6-10" long and 6-8" in diameter and weigh 4-10lbs. Bright yellow flesh, excellent flavor and texture. Very sweet, thin rind. A staff favorite when grown in 2011. Few black seeds. Productive. Early maturing. Donated to SSE by Linda Roberts (OH RO L) who acquired the variety from Bill Ellis (PA EL B) in 1993. Ellis originally obtained the variety from Dorothy Renick at the Renick Farm Market near Ashville, OH. SSE Accession # 127938
