Roots globose to tapered, 6-8" long, with purple shoulders and dense, yellow-orange, slightly bitter flesh, the flavor improving after frost. Plants vigorous, 8-12" tall with attractive blue-green leaves. Grown by Alison Krohn in 2020 for the Collection Documentation Project; she noted that the plants had delicious greens.
