Excellent eating qualities. Unique flavor, great texture (like a Honeycrisp apple). Light, crunchy, crisp, and juicy with a thin skin. Flavor becomes slightly sour fairly quickly after market maturity. Market mature fruit are dark green with pale green stripes and speckles. Pale green flesh. White spines; dull skin; straight; non-ribbed; round in cross-section. Fruit measure 3.5-4.5" long, 1.5-2.2" wide, 3-6oz. Seed mature fruit pale yellow; 5-6" long, 2.5-3" wide, 8-16oz. Vining plants with soft pubescence. Average productivity; mid-season maturing when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm.
