Tiger Eye

Bush dry. From Argentina. Probably highly productive in full sun but less so happy my shady yard. Seeds brick red or brown striped over dark mustard yellow, occasional seed mostly red with tiny mustard speckles but most just with a wide curved red swirly stripe, or evem mostly mustard, 3/4x3/8x1/4". Pods to 4"x1/2"x3/8" (probably larger with sun). Said to be good for refried beans because skin dissolves. Tasty. A few bushes produced 1.4 ounces of seeds in 2025. 70% germination of 5 year old seed. 10-20 seeds from 2023 or 2024.
