Craquante d'Avignon

Romaine. Plants 6-9" tall and 12.5-17" in diameter. Leaves obovate in shape with high amount of blistering and dark green with a slightly toothed margin. Leaves measure 6-9" long and 6.5-7.75" wide. White seeded. Plants did not form a head when grown in 2015 at Heritage Farm. Average taste qualities, but is incredibly crisp. SSE Accession # 111530
