Oak leaf. Light green, obovate leaves are deeply lobed. Moderate blistering with smooth leaf margins. Plants average 7" tall and 12" in diameter. Largest leaves average 6.7" long by 5.9" wide. Mid-season maturing. Donated to SSE by Mary Landwehr sometime in the 1990s. Mary received the variety from Richard Heitzman of Independence, IA. At the time of the donation, Mary indicated it was a 70+ year heirloom in Richard's family. SSE estimates this variety likely dates to at least the 1920s. SSE Accession # 111899
