Medium-small, pink, beefsteak tomato. Indeterminate growth habit. Potato leaf. Oblate (flattened) to round fruit with slight ribbing at stem end. Moderate radial cracking on some fruit; concentric cracking uncommon. Cat-face appearance rare. Stigmas even with stamens. Fruit born singly or in clusters of up to four. Ripe fruit reach 2.4-3.0" long by 2.4-4.3" wide and weigh 0.7-0.9 lbs. Considerable range in flavor between fasciated and non-fasciated fruit. Most are sweet with low acidity. Very juicy. Thin skin. Late maturing. Average productivity when grown in 2013 at Heritage Farm. Donated to SSE by Sue Gronholz (WI GR S) who received this variety from Helen Navarre. It's been maintained by Navarre family of Madison, WI since the 1970s when they received it from an elderly cousin who had grown it for many years.
