Leonotis nepetifolius

Lion's Tail, Lion's Ear, Klipp Dagga. 3-6' tall annual (perennial in warmer areas) with verticillasters of fuzzy orange flowers. The spent flower heads are decorative all winter long, but beware of the wicked sharp spines on them.
