A very sweet carrot. Raw roots are sweet, crunchy, juicy, non-fibrous and have good flavor. Cooked roots are sweet, mild, starchy, and acidic/sulfuric. Straight, orange roots. Smooth skin; intermediate taper; pointed ends; non-forked; uniform. Conical shoulders with moderate green coloration and slight red coloration at stem end. Pale orange inner core, dark orange outer core. Market roots 4-5" long, 0.7-1" wide, and 0.5-1.5 oz. Low splitting tendency; no bolting in first year when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm.
