Snap bean. 70 days snaps. 100+ days dry. Productive plants to over 6 ft. here produce 6 x 1/2 in. to 7 in pods that can get quite large without becoming stringy. Dry pods become wrinkled as they dry are easy to hand shell. Seeds are oval slightly elongated, and slightly kidney shaped, light tan and cream colored. Tan color looks finely sponge painted over the lighter base color where the two colors meet. Also suitable as a dry bean. A West Virginia heirloom where it is still popular in seed saving cirles.
